Racing officials declared race 7 a no contest after an accident as the field was on route to the opening quarter. Traffic was tight and Acton Overeasy went off stride on the front end. The backfield couldn’t avoid the breaking horse. Driver Philip Doucette, who was aboard Farmers Glory, was shaken up from the mishap. Doucette was transported to the Prince County Hospital to be checked over by the medical team. No other horse or driver injuries were reported.
