Lee Drake, Manager, Sales & Marketing – Lee is the Manager of Marketing & Sales with Red Shore’s properties at Summerside and Charlottetown.

He’s a proud Rotarian and is also an active member in the community serving on a number of committees including Junior Achievement of PEI. He is chairman of the Special Events Reserve Fund that was set up to support events and attractions coming to Charlottetown. He spent 18 years in the broadcast industry and has an extensive background in the harness racing industry serving from 2005 to 2010 as marketing director with Harness Racing PEI.

Lee joins the senior management team at Red Shores led by Managing Director Tom Mullally and Manager of Operations Heidi Duchesne. He and his marketing team are responsible in making Red Shores operations a leading community and entertainment destination in racing, dining and gaming.

Their signature events include the Governor’s Plate, Gold Cup & Saucer, PEI Poker Challenge and Atlantic Canada Poker Championship along with other lines of new customer experiences. Drake is also in command of the Race Day broadcast team that joins veteran track announcer Vance Cameron on live presentations. The broadcast team also includes Peter MacPhee, JD MacDonald and Amanda Butler of K-Rock 105.5.

His wife is Jennifer Evans, general manager of Ocean 100 and K Rock 105.5. They reside in Sherwood with their daughter Laurel and son John.

Coreen Pickering, Sales & Events Specialist – Coreen is the Sales and Events Specialist for both RED SHORES properties, in Charlottetown and Summerside. Coreen joined the team at RED SHORES in April 2009 as Food and Beverage Supervisor where she developed a solid reputation for exceeding customers’ expectations. Coreen has a passion for creating positive customer experience and has an extensive professional background in both Food & Beverage and Sales. Coreen also holds a diploma in Travel and Tourism, a Business Administration diploma and background in marketing and sales.

Cari Locke, Marketing Coordinator – Cari is the Marketing Coordinator for both RED SHORES properties, in Charlottetown and Summerside. Cari joined the Red Shores team in June 2009. Cari has a background working in the hotel industry, where she gained experience in multiple facets of tourism and customer service. She is also a Holland College graduate in Tourism and Travel Management. Cari and the marketing team are responsible for creating and executing the many exciting major events and promotions at Summerside and Charlottetown.
