Bet The House Winning Streak Continues; Chappell and Bradley Notch Driving Doubles
Summerside, PE – Bet The House won the Sunday afternoon feature at Red Shores Summerside in 1:56.3. It’s his fourth win in a row and remains perfect at the Prince County racetrack since the season started in May.
Driver Mike Stevenson sent the pacer to the front off the gate and held off any challengers for the score. The horse is co-owned by Blaine McKenna, Elmsdale and Gary Arsenault, Miscouche. McKenna is the trainer. Rambarononbroadway was second for Jason Hughes while Pembroke Fella and Brian MacPhee were third.
Gary Chappell and Mark Bradley had driving doubles on the day. Chappell drives for Kwik Kopy in the Drive for Charity event with each victory going to the Easter Seals Society while Bradley’s wins supports the Children’s Wish Foundation and covered by Noonan Petroleum Ltd.
