Shock the Rock Wins Red Shores Feature
Charlottetown, PE – Shock the Rock, owned by Bethany MacLeod of Charlottetown, won the Thursday night feature in an impressive 1:57 flat at Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
Driver Mark MacKinnon, who was celebrating his birthday, mapped out the winning trip sending the newcomer to the front from the rail and rated fractions of 28.1, 58.1 and 1:28 to turn back Artners in Crime (Ron Matheson) for second and Rymar Chief (Ken Murphy) finished third.
BJ Eldorado won the evening trot division for driver Mark Cullen and owner Bert Honkoop of Montague.
Danny MacDonald and Mike McGuigan recorded driving doubles on the 12 dash card.
